Bridge St, Bonnybridge

A development of 112 flats disposed in three dog-leg blocks of 4 - 6 storeys between the Bonny Water and the Forth & Clyde canal.

An appropriate urban edge to Bonnybridge is provided, balancing the scale of development on the opposite side of the canal. The massing and disposition of the blocks is redolent of traditional urban canal side development and is designed to maximise the urban setting - Blocks 1 and 2 take full advantage of the canal frontage while Block 3 exploits the Bonny Water, rising up from its banks. A limited palette of traditional and modern materials allows the development to set up a dialogue with the Bonnybridge urban fabric.
A cafe/tearoom; hairdressing salon and replacement chapel also form part of this multi million project.
