The alterations to this property were undertaken in two phases. The initial phase introduced an internal stair and converted the existing roofspace into a room with other minor internal and external alterations. The second phase added an extension to the side and front of the house providing enlarged living space downstairs and more sleeping accommodation and a bathroom upstairs. The extension was designed to sit comfortably with the existing house and context. The new 'wing' turned 90 degrees to the existing house also creates a new sheltered decking area enhancing the external landscaping and a new 'front door' to the rear of the house completes the remodeling of this house.
