South Elevation of the converted church
A Grade B listed church and hall conversion to four unique residences. By splitting the church horizontally into two units Munro Associates were able to add considerable value to the project for the client - three units only were granted under the original planning approval.
Externally the junctions where the separating floor crossed the lancet windows was carefully detailed to ensure that the building's external appearance was not affected. Careful consideration of the internal partitioning to the upper unit ensured preservation of the unique coffered ceiling.
